Our Roots
Kingdom Life Church was founded in Knoxville, TN by our beloved late Bishop Gary E. Wright—a visionary, a spiritual father, and a man whose legacy still speaks. Through his passionate preaching, deep compassion for people, and unwavering faith, he planted more than a church—he planted a movement of empowerment, restoration, and Kingdom purpose.
What began as a seed of faith has blossomed into a vibrant, Spirit-led community devoted to truth, compassion, and transformation. Though our church may be small in number, we carry a mighty Kingdom assignment.
Today, under the leadership of Bishop Farris Long, we continue to build upon Bishop Wright’s foundation— and our community is growing—not just numerically, but spiritually, emotionally, and missionally. We are raising up people, restoring lives, and releasing the power of Kingdom living in our city and beyond.
